By anyone’s standards, Axel ‘Axwell’ Hedfors is a giant of modern-day dance music.
A superstar DJ/producer in his right, label mogul & one third of dance supergroup Swedish House Mafia, Axwell has never lost the giddy enthusiasm of a fledgling clubber.
In the last 2 years, Axwell has been twice nominated for a Grammy, the first for his remix of ‘Sweet Disposition’ by Temper Trap with Dirty South and latterly for best dance single with Swedish House Mafia for ‘Save The World’
Having performed with Usher on the American Music Awards, Swedish House Mafia went on to break all known records for a dance act, selling out the legendary Madison Square Garden in under 10 minutes and delivering the most talked about show of 2011.
The trio have to date achieved 4 top 10 hits in the UK, “One” feat. Pharell, “Miami 2 Ibiza” feat. Tinie Tempah & ‘Save The World’ feat John Martin & “Antidote” alongside Knife Party with their latest single ‘Greyhound’ having just hit the download stores accompanied by a rather special video clip.
Last year saw Axwell fulfill a life long dream to work with Chris Martin remixing Coldplay’s ‘Every Tear Drop Is A Waterfall’ into a stadium sized anthem.
His 3 year residency at Pacha Ibiza with Swedish House Mafia came to an end last summer but not before it had reached legendary status on the Island. Axwell went on to achieve 2 positions in the DJ Magazine Top 100 Poll in 2011, No.12 as a solo DJ & No.10 with his Swedish compadres.
Axwell’s Axtone Records continues to go from strength to strength serving as a tangible example of his love for a variety of styles. Releases over the last 12 months alone include Axwell’s last solo offering ‘Heart Is King’, ‘Resurrection’ by rising star ‘Michael Calfan’ & ‘In My Mind’ by Ivan Gough, Feenixpawl ft Georgi Kay both of which received a helping hand from Axwell himself in the studio.
Looking ahead to 2012, Axwell has launched the inaugural ‘Axtone presents’ shows in Miami and will be checking in for 2 nights at the Masquerade Motel with Swedish House Mafia. He’s also set to embark on a UK & Europe solo tour all leading towards Swedish House Mafia taking over the Milton Keynes Bowl this summer.

NO_ID
Let's introduce: we are NO_ID. Yes that’s in capitals and with an underscore!
Born in Amsterdam, raised in music. The NO_ID duo kicked off in the year 2008, formed by two local heroes. They joined forces and instantly shook the Dutch DJ scene by winning the Amsterdam Dance Event Demolition Contest with one of their first tracks called “Wurld”. This track was nominated for best house track with commercial potential. NO_ID tries to create a new and fresh international big room, proggy house sound, that is rarely found on the Dutch and international dance floors nowadays. Constantly finding new ways to enthuse and arouse their audiences, that is what NO_ID stands for and where these two guys put their faith in. Firm believers in the element of surprise, they let the music speak for itself as they play. Projects of NO_ID have been released on Diffused Music, Armada Music, Ultra Records, Toolroom Records, Spinnin’ Records, Cr2 Records, and others. Supported by Axwell, Tiësto, Sander van Doorn, Mark Knight, Chris Lake, Judge Jules and Michael Woods etc., they have had a pretty impressing array of releases the past year. Starting off with "Nothing Left To Lose" on Cr2 Records, creating a buzz on several big music stations and online. Followed by two massive releases on Diffused Music: "Sex Sells EP", a big hit on ID&T’s Sensation events among others, and most recently "How R U Feeling Right Now", accompanied by the Axwell approved Michael Woods edit. 2012 started with a huge bang! NO_ID was personally asked by Swedish House Maffia’s Axwell to join forces with his Axtone Management team, giving them the opportunity to sign at one of the most recommended and renown booking agencies worldwide, ATM Artists - the homebase of Axwell, Dirty South, Moby and others. First up? Warming up for Axwell at one of New Yorks most hyped events in 2012 already: Cosmic Opera at the Hammerstein Ballroom!
The guys of NO_ID, now headed for the international borders, are here to stay!
